5th Annual ARCC/Darling’s Corvette Autumn Sept 15-16 2017

2015 and 2016  were capped off by ARCC/Darling’s 3rd and 4th Annual Corvette Autumn Shows held at Darlings Chevrolet in Ellsworth, Maine.  The shows hosted by ARCC (Acadia Region Corvette Club) and sponsored by Darlings Chevrolet to celebrate the spectacular fall foliage of the Acadia Region of Maine and America’s Sports Car were  terrific successes.  Approximately  50 beautiful Vettes from C2 thru C7 from New England and Canada attended each year.
We are now announcing the 5th edition of this popular event.  The 2017 show will be somewhat earlier in the fall to, hopefully, garner warmer temperatures and less wind.  This year’s show will be Friday and Saturday, Sept. 15 and 16.
The event will begin with a “Start Your Engines Party” on Friday, Sept 15 ( at the Ellsworth Elks Club on High Street, 4:30 until???)  The party will be open to all pre registered entrants and entrants registering at that venue.  The party will be hosted by ARCC offering a free buffet and a cash bar.  The event will  culminate in an all Corvette judged show Saturday, Sept 16 at the Darlings Chevrolet facility at 121 Downeast Highway, Ellsworth Maine.  Registration opens at 9:00 am. (Please plan to arrive between 9 and 10 am.)  Judging begins at 10:00 am.  Cars arriving after 10:00 will not be judged, but may enter as “for show only” participants.   Food vendors will be onsite to offer a variety of choices for lunch.  The show will end in a trophy presentation in early afternoon.  As in the past, some games of skill will be offered with the proceeds supporting Sarah’s House (an affordable temporary residence for persons undergoing cancer treatment in Bangor.)  Details and timing are in development, so check back often to sign up and plan your visit to our home area.

The registration form may be downloaded now and mailed in to secure the early registration discounted fee.

Currently the Eagles Lodge Motel at 278 High Street, Ellsworth is offering a special room discount for show attendees.   Contact them at (207) 667-3311.

More will be posted as arrangements are completed.
