May 16 begins the cruise in season at Eggemoggin Reach.  Members of the club often meet at Reny’s Ellsworth and cruise 45 minutes to the Eggemoggin Country Store for a low key ad hoc cruise in.  Cars of all years, styles and types show up and we have a great time.  In the past, the store owners have held a burger or sausage BBQ offering the sandwich, a soda or water, and chips for $5.  It is a great time to socialize with interesting car fans of all ages, genders and interests.  When it begins to break up, there are sometimes interesting departures.  As we leave, we often stop at the top of Caterpillar Hill to admire some spectacular sunsets, and we have documented several very spectacular ones.
